About That Cheese Chick
Fired-up Cheese Executive Officer, Sheila Guthrie, has always had a passion for sharing food with everyone she meets. Food is synonymous with love and friendship in her book!
This mother of four became a woman on a mission to share her love of cheese and that vision came to light during the pandemic in August of 2020. Tortured by the lack of personalized touches she found the perfect way to bring a smile to people's faces while sharing charcuterie boards and boxes with their household.
Powerhouse Sheila didn't stop with just bringing the love to people's homes. She wanted to bring that sense of pride in community and local goods back to the city of Slidell, Louisiana. From the beginning, That Cheese Chick has been devoted to providing the highest quality cheeses paired with the finest local fruits, veggies, honey, jams, and desserts she could get her hands on. Not bad for a culinary school dropout.
She STILL couldn't get enough of that community-vibe, so she went even bigger. That Cheese Chick opened their first shop right in the heart of Old Towne, Slidell. Located at 224 Fremaux Avenue, Sheila and That Cheese Chick staff are able to bring the smiles, the comfort, and the relationships right back to their local community with that little special magic that occurs every time they curate one of their boxes or boards.
